"The Great Wooden (Stalking) Horse" political caricature by John Doyle, published in his series of HB Sketches, by E.McLean, May 10th, 1831. Includes Lord Eldon, Duke of Wellington, Lord Grey, Lord Durham, Lord John Russell, Lord Holland and Lord Brougham. The stalking horse represent the Reform Bill, which Wellington is trying to repel with a spear. Stone lithograph, very close trimmed to lower margin, otherwise good condition. Size 36 x 29 cms including title, plus margins. Ref H9066
