"Sweden and Norway" classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes include Stockholm, Norwegian Peasants, Iron Mine in Upsala, Norwegian Skate Runners (skiing). Good condition. Size 24 x 35 cms including decorative border, plus margins.
