"Channel Islands" (Jersey & Guernsey) classic decorative Tallis/Rapkin map published in Tallis's The Illustrated Atlas ..., about 1853. Steel engraved map with original outline hand colour, the more desirable version without a centrefold and with good margins. The decorative vignettes show St.Peters Port, Castle Cornet, and Jersey. Good condition. Size 24.5 x 35 cms including decorative border, plus good margins. Ref G1954
