"Dog in a Manger" etched by Samuel Howitt, published in A New Work of Animals, principally designed from The Fables of Aesop, Gay and Phaedrus, 1810. Copper plate etching, good condition with full plate mark. Supplied with a printout of the fable illustrated. Size 18 x 14 cms including title, plus margins. Ref G686
