"A Swarm of English Bees hiving in the Imperial Carriage!! - Who would have thought it !!! !!!" caricature by George Cruickshank originally published in 1816, this edition published by Thomas McLean in 1835. The lower title states "A Scene at the London Museum, Piccadilly, or a peep at the spoils of ambition, taken at the Battle of Waterloo, being a new Tax on John Bull for 1816 &c." Uncoloured etching with full plate mark and good margins. Size 36 x 26.5 cms, plus margins. Ref F9878
