"The Image of Nilus brought by Vespasian out of Egypy and now to be seene at Rome in the Vatican" anonymous engraver, published in Sandys Relation of a Journey begun An Dom. 1610 ..., second edition, 1621. Copper engraved print, text on the reverse plus another engraving of nightime festivities with fireworks attending the rise of the Nile.. Small tear just to image edge in right margin (no loss.) Otherwise good condition with full plate mark. Scarce. Size 22x 14 cms, plus margins. Ref F7808
