"A British Sailor Offering A Sword To An Unarmed Spanish Officer To Defend Himself, At The Attack Of Fort Omoa, Which Was Taken By Escalade, On The 20 Of Octr. 1779, under the Command of Captn. Dalrymple and Commodore Luttrell" engraved by Thornton after a picture by Hamilton, published in Barnard's History of England, 1783. Copper engraved print, full plate mark and good margins. Size 22 x 32 cms to plate mark, plus margins. Ref F2936
