"Joab takes Amasa by the beard, under pretence of saluting him, but instantly ran him through the body, so that he died upon the spot" copper engraving published in Dr. Bradshaw's New Edition of Josephus, about 1790. Some age browning and slight soiling, worm hole lower right. Size 12.5 x 18.5 cms including title, plus margins with full plate mark. Ref F1517
