"A Bit of Blood" (refers to degenerate English horses, with so little flesh they may as well be termed 'a bit of blood') etched by W.Dickinson after a picture by H.W.Bunbury and published in Gambado's Annals of Horsemanship, London, 1808. Copper plate etching with old, slightly crude, hand colouring. Plate mark and good margins. Size 20 x 23 cms to plate mark. Ref D9184
