Fishing caricature, Robert Seymour, 1835 / 1878.

"Walked twenty miles overnight - up before peep o'day: got a capital place - fell fast asleep - tide rose up to my knees ....", caricature by Robert Seymour, published in Seymour's Humorous Sketches by Henry Bohn, 1878. First published as a lithograph in about 1836, this is a later steel engraved version, with recent hand colour. Size about 12 x 16 cms plus good margins. Ref D871
